I am a NaBloPoMo Dropout…

Le Sigh! I did not manage to post every day in November, so I guess I am a NaBloPoMo failure. But, I have an excuse don’t I always! I looked back over the posts I was making and realized that I was posting things I normally wouldn’t just so I would have a post for that day, and I wasn’t happy with that. I would rather post less often and post something interesting not boring semi-interesting than to post a bunch and not be happy with it. So, I am going back to posting things when they strike my fancy. LOL!

In the spirit of stuff striking my fancy….. I give you a computer they have taught to think like a cat. Now, at first, I thought “Cool!”. Then I took a moment and looked at my cat considered the implications of having a computer that thinks like a cat. Really…. consider it… do you really want a computer who thinks like a cat? My own cat is capricious, does what she wants, does strange things for no apparent reason, and I have seen her tease the dog, just for fun. Oh wait… never mind! My computer –already- acts like a cat at times, doing what it wants instead of what I want it to!

I couldn't post every day. I have all I can do to make sure I write in whatever book I'm working on that every day. Even then I still need the occasional break.

I would be afraid of a computer acting like one of my cats. Wonder if they give the computer 9 lives too. Making it so you have to shut it down 9 different ways before it goes offline. (Hugs)Indigo

Twice, I had to back-date a post, so I cheated. I'm just sayin'. I have enjoyed blogging more, though. All 3 of my readers are probably sorry, though. HA!

Thanks for the laugh. A computer that thinks like a cat. Hmmmm. Does that mean it will only let you on the internet if it is in the mood to be on the internet? That actually might be a good thing for me!

I kind of hate NaBloPoMo (whatever it is) for that reason. Not you personally of course, but I see posts pop up and get all excited, and then realize it's just an obligatory post because it's November. I tried it once but doubt I'll do it again.

I am also a NaBloPoMo drop out too. At the beginning of the month I really wanted to participate, but like you I didn't want to post things that weren't interesting or not worth someone reading. It's really hard to post everyday, at least for me.
And no, I wouldn't want a computer that acts like a cat...LOL

Happy Thanksgiving,
Gayla

I dropped out too.......before I ever got to November. LOL

I'm with you on the computer thinking like a cat. Mine has it's own mind as well......although at least it won't be climbing my Christmas tree.
